How much does it cost?
$59 for a session.
How long is a session?
20-30 minutes, depending on your dogs fitness level.
Do I have to be home?
Only for the first session.
After the initial session, we can run your dog without you being home. As long as your dog is comfortable with me entering the property.
Most of our client utilise our service when they are at works their dogs are at home alone.
How old does my dog need to be?
There is no age limit, however the session will be custom tailored to suit your dogs age, needs and physical condition.
Eg, a puppy’s session will be focused on confidence building and not fitness. The puppy would do minimal running.
On the other side, a senior dog would have a session that is at a steady pace, and of a duration that suits the dog.
How long does it take for them to feel comfortable?
All dogs are different. But most of them will feel comfortable in about 10 to 15 minutes. Some dogs may take long… so we work at the dog’s level of comfort.
What area do you service?
Most Melbourne suburbs if there is enough demand in that area.
Can any dog do it?
Yes, provided your dog is in good health, doesn’t have any underlying health issues or injuries. It’s always good to check with your vet first if you have any concerns.
We will tailor the session to your dog’s needs.
How is this different from walking my dog, or taking my dog for a run?
The slat mill allows your dog to run as fast as they like in a controlled and safe environment.
You don’t have to worry about the dangers with letting your dog off leash at the local dog park or beach.
It has shock absorption.
Provides mental stimulation and a sense of achievement.
Builds confidence.
How do we prepare for our session?
Your dog must have trimmed nails, to avoid any injury.
No food or water at least 60 minutes before and after the session.
Toilet you dog before the session.
