This is a manual slat mill, which means it is non-motorised. It is powered by your dog. The allows your dog to go at their own speed. If you dog speeds up, so does the slat mill. If your dog starts to get tired and slows down, well so does the slat mill.
When your dog stops, the slat mill also stops. It only moves by your dogs motivation to run.
